Ringing in the New Year
As we step into the new year, lets set some goals and things we would like to accomplish or change in 2026. Keep it minimal and obtainable. I would like to hear 2 goals you would like to reach this year. Once you have achieved those 2 you can set more. Here are the 2 goals I would like to achieve this year. 1. I want to be healthier. For 2 years now I have been eliminating toxins out of my life. My next blog will be some examples of the things I have removed in my everyday lifestyle. I want to get back into yoga, and try Tai Chi, as well as focusing on healthier ways of eating as well as drinking more water! I’m so busy throughout the day I forget to drink plenty of water. It has been a horrible habit of mine. 2. I want to be more task driven. I’m not a “list” person, nor am I a calendar/ planner gal. I have wasted so much money over the years buying planners to stay on task, but ironically enough I forget to write in the planner. They do have apps for daily to-do-list, and I do have one downloaded on a device. I have found that I love crossing off things I completed during the day, and I seem to get more accomplished when I see tasks in front of me in black and white. It has been proven that if we set the bar too high with gobs of things on our list to do for the day, we are more likely to fail and let ourselves down. So, I’m going to make a list before bed of 10 things or less that I need to do for the next day. I believe that is more than reasonable as well as very obtainable in my busy daily routine. I can’t wait to hear everyone’s goals for the new year!
