The love of Roses

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, I decided to talk about 1 of the most popular flowers and scents that initiates your olfactory and heightens your “love senses”. I have always loved roses. But not the typical red ones. My favorites are yellow and purple. English Roses have the most pungent scents, yet over the years the decline of that natural beautiful scent has decreased significantly. Be on the lookout at my booth and website for a few Rose products that I think you will love.

Rose has multiple uses as well have beneficial properties to health and well-being. Let’s take a look at some:

~ Hydrates and Soothes: Rosewater tones, and refreshes irritated and sensitive skin

~Anti-Inflammatory: Rose helps reduce redness and inflammation from common skin conditions

~Antioxidant: Fights free radicals that can cause aging

~Regenerative: Rose oil can help improve elasticity

~Rose Tea: Internally, the Vitamin C in Rose protects cells, helps digestion, and can help improve circulation as well as respiratory health (buy from a trusted source, insuring petals are free from pesticides) Mandala Elemental Wonders In Azle is where I purchase my rose petals.

~Emotional: Rose can help boost your mood and stress levels

Fun Facts about Roses:

  1. All varieties of roses are edible

  2. They are possibly one of the oldest flowers

  3. Each rose color has a different meaning

  4. There are approximately 150 species of roses around the world

  5. They have microscopic glands on the lower petals which produce the perfume like scent

Here at Wholistic Hut we strive for purity and developed a Linen/Body spray that smells wonderful. It’s on our website just in time for Valentines Day!
